The Midnight is an American synthwave group featuring singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle from Atlanta and Danish producer and musician Tim McEwan from Los Angeles. Blending nostalgic melodies with modern electronic sounds, their music often evokes a sense of longing and fleeting beauty, reflected in their guiding motto, the Japanese concept of mono no aware, which expresses the bittersweet awareness that all things are temporary.
