They select wide grained dark Ebony to give the classiest of cosmetics to the instrument and contrast that with almost mountain top white Himalayan Spruce to give the most remarkable aesthetic.

Each top is braced with quarter sawn spruce and designed to project well, produce rich warm Bass notes and soaring mid and highs. The Ebony and Spruce timbers compliment each other, both being hard, strong, reflective tone woods, and we add the warmth and Bass through the bracing pattern, to give the best of all worlds.
