Stereo MCs are a British group blending hip-hop and electronic dance music, formed in Clapham, London in 1985. They gained international recognition with their hit single Connected and achieved UK chart success with Step It Up. After releasing eight albums on major labels, they launched their own imprint, Connected, collaborating with Terranova to support their music and other artists in the house and techno scene.
