Sharon Van Etten is an American singer-songwriter and actress known for her emotionally resonant indie rock sound and confessional lyrics. Originally from New Jersey and now based in Los Angeles, she performs with her band the Attachment Theory, featuring Devra Hoff, Teeny Lieberson, and Jorge Balbi. Van Etten has released seven studio albums, including Because I Was in Love, Tramp, and Remind Me Tomorrow, continually earning acclaim for her evocative music.
