The Shanling M30 is a modular device that is upgradeable and customizable over time. A high-performing DAC/Amp mixed with a standalone music player. The M30 wants to be your all-in-one device, with access to different streaming services (Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, and more). Fully powered by its own batteries, assuring clean and stable power for the best audio performance.
Looking inside the unique modular design of the Shanling M30, the player features both Tube and Solid-State technologies. For Solid-state, the M30 features 2x ADI ADA4610-2+ 4x Ti BUF634 amplification module and for Tube output, the M30 is equipped with 2x Korg Nature 6P1 tubes. The M30 features three output modes, Direct, Transport, and Tube.
The M30 is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, as we seen in the Shanling M8, with a large 6-inch HD touchscreen. The DAC is equipped with Dual AKM AK4497 DAC chips and 2x Ti OPA1662 operational amplifiers for smooth signal decoding and rendering. It supports hi-res signal decoding with PCM up to 32-Bit/384kHz and DSD512 natively. It also supports DSD Upsampling, MQA decoding, and more.
The M30 features an analog input via RCA, Coaxial digital, Optical, 2x USB-A, USB-B and USB-C. For headphone output: 4-Pin XLR, 4.4mm, 2.5mm, 3.5mmPRO Balanced output, and 6.35mm/3.5mm single-ended, next to RCA and XLR analog outputs. With regards to network connectivity there is a ethernet port and dual-band WiFi available, next to Bluetooth capabilities with support for LDAC, LHDC, aptX HD, and more.
