Skillet is an American Christian rock band formed in 1996 in Memphis, Tennessee. The group is anchored by John Cooper, the only original member, who serves as lead vocalist and bassist. The current lineup also includes Korey Cooper on guitar and keyboards, Jen Ledger on drums and vocals, and Seth Morrison on lead guitar. Known for their powerful sound and energetic live shows, Skillet has released twelve studio albums, earning Grammy nominations and multiple platinum certifications. Their best-known songs include Monster, Hero, Awake and Alive, and Feel Invincible, all of which have achieved multi-platinum status.
