Men at Work is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1979, best known for their international hits "Down Under," "Who Can It Be Now," "Be Good Johnny," "Overkill," and "It's a Mistake." Led by singer and guitarist Colin Hay, the band's classic lineup also included Ron Strykert, Jerry Speiser, Greg Ham, and John Rees. They made history in 1983 as the first Australian act to achieve simultaneous number one positions for both album and single in the United States with "Business as Usual" and "Down Under." Men at Work won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist and have sold over 30 million albums worldwide. While the original line-up dissolved in the mid-1980s, Hay has continued to tour under the Men at Work name with new musicians. The band's legacy is cemented as one of Australia's most successful and influential rock groups.
