James Robert Forrest Jr. was an American jazz tenor saxophonist active throughout his career. Best known for his solo recording "Night Train," which topped the Billboard R and B chart for seven weeks in 1952, he also found success with "Hey Mrs. Jones" and "Bolo Blues." Forrest recorded these hits for United Records between 1951 and 1953 and worked both as a bandleader and a sideman.
