Rhye is an R and B project led by Canadian singer Mike Milosh. Initially formed as a duo with Danish instrumentalist Robin Hannibal, Rhye first gained attention with the singles "Open" and "The Fall," which sparked intrigue due to their minimal details. The debut album, Woman, arrived in 2013 and was recognized on the Polaris Music Prize longlist. Over time, Rhye transitioned into a music collective guided by Milosh, focusing on soulful, intimate sounds with an evolving live band. The second album, Blood, was released in early 2018, showcasing Milosh's songwriting and production, followed by an international tour in support of the release.
