Power Trip is an American crossover thrash band from Dallas, Texas, formed in 2008. Known for their aggressive sound and dynamic live shows, the group made a major impact on modern metal with albums like Manifest Decimation and Nightmare Logic, the latter earning chart success and industry accolades. After the passing of original vocalist Riley Gale in 2020, Seth Gilmore joined as the band’s new singer in 2023. Power Trip’s fusion of thrash and hardcore elements has made them a standout act in contemporary heavy music, highlighted by the Grammy-nominated track Executioner's Tax (Swing of the Axe).
