The NUX MOD CORE DELUXE MKII is a powerful and versatile modulation pedal featuring 8 distinct modulation types. It offers advanced signal routing capabilities, allowing musicians to precisely shape and integrate modulation effects into their sound, whether for subtle enhancements or complex sonic textures.

• 8 Modulation Types:The pedal offers a diverse range of modulation effects, selectable via the Type rotary switch.
  • ST.CH (Stereo Chorus): Inspired by the MXR® Stereo Chorus, providing a beautiful sound with internally optimized bass and treble settings and automatic bass filter correction via Core-Image™ sound modeling.
  • CE-1: Based on the legendary BOSS® CE-1 (1976), replicating its characteristic warmth and rich jazz atmosphere, instantly recognizable in any musician's tone.
  • SCF CHO (Chorus): A tribute to the TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flanger, creating a soft and wide modulation by mixing multiple delayed signals with the original.
  • SCF FLG (Flanger): Similar to chorus but with signal regeneration (feedback), resulting in a more distinctive effect.
  • SCF P.M. (Pitch Modulation): A combination of chorus and pitch vibrato, producing a "light" chorus sound.
  • U-VIBE CHO (Chorus): Inspired by the Dunlop® Uni-Vibe®, known for its unique 3D sound mimicking a rotating speaker effect. Depth knob adjusts the sweeping effect.
  • U-VIBE VIB (Vibrato): Also inspired by the Dunlop® Uni-Vibe®. Depth knob adjusts the degree of pitch modulation.
  • PH-100: Based on the MXR® PHASE 100, offering a broad range of tones with Speed and 4-waveform Intensity control. (Note: Tweak knob has no function in PH-100 mode as the original reference lacks a mix signal).
• Intuitive User Interface & Controls:
  • RATE Knob: Adjusts the modulation speed.
  • DEPTH Knob: Adjusts the modulation sweep range.
  • Modulation Type Knob: Selects the modulation type.
  • TWEAK Knob: Adjusts a specific parameter for each modulation type. In ST.CH / CE-1 / SCF CHO / SCF FLG / SCF P.M. / U-VIBE CHO / U-VIBE VIB modes, it adjusts the mix level of modulation. In PH-100 mode, it has no function. In Alt mode (when toggle is in // parallel position), Tweak becomes a Blend knob to adjust the mixing rate of Modulation effect signal and Send/Return signal.
• Advanced Signal Routing (Toggle Switch):The 3-way toggle switch enables flexible signal routing for advanced setups.
  • PRE: Modulation effect goes before the Send/Return loop.
  • // (Parallel): Modulation effect and Send/Return loop are parallel.
  • POST: Modulation effect goes after the Send/Return loop.
• Footswitch & FS Indicator: Press once to engage/disengage the effect. Press twice to activate Smart Tap Tempo (Rate is related to tap tempo, FS indicator flashes as current BPM, range 50-200 BPM). The FS indicator shows "Red" when engaged and turns off when disengaged.
• I/O Jacks:
  • In Jack (1/4" TS): Standard mono input. Connect your guitar here.
  • Return Jack: Used in advanced routing; connect pre-effects like OD/Dist output here.
  • Out Jacks (1/4" TS): Standard mono outputs. Out1 sends the modulation effect out in advanced routing, while Send out sends the loop signal out.
• Power & Connectivity:
  • DC Jack: Requires 9V Negative Tip power with more than 150mA (power consumption is less than 110mA).
  • USB-C Port: For firmware updates. Connect a USB cable to a PC and hold the footswitch to boot the device into DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode.
