Choose from three classic BBD chorus modes: slow and deep, fast and shimmering, or a combination of both, with a stereo width that expands to 2.5× at its maximum. The vintage-style drive adds warmth and richness before the filter, while the Vintage knob allows you to age the circuit from pristine to beautifully worn. The reactive Perform View transforms the entire signal path into an instrument you can play, rather than just a panel to navigate.

Play It, Don't Automate It

QUASAR-106's main interface, the Perform View, features a reactive iris ring that controls filter cutoff and resonance, a field that adjusts chorus depth and stereo width, and a center circle that toggles the filter slope. The interface responds dynamically to your audio, allowing you to play the circuit rather than simply automate it. For precise adjustments, the Advanced panel reveals every parameter—CUT, RES, DRV, VINT, FILT, CHO—for detailed control.

A Safe Mode for the Stage

Self-oscillation can be one of the most musical sounds a filter can produce, but it can also be risky in a live setting. QUASAR-106 includes an OSC control with a Safe Mode, allowing you to push resonance confidently on stage without fear of unwanted feedback.

Performance Surface – Iris and Field

The Perform View features three controls: the Iris triangle for filter cutoff (vertical) and resonance (horizontal), the Field bars for chorus depth (vertical) and stereo width (horizontal), and the Center Circle for toggling the filter slope between 12 dB and 24 dB. Every parameter is fully automatable in your DAW, allowing for expressive control with a single gesture.
