Migos

Migos

Migos was an American hip hop group formed in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in 2008. The trio consisted of Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset, who were family members and close friends. Managed by Coach K and often collaborating with producers like DJ Durel, Murda Beatz, and Zaytoven, Migos became known for their distinct trap sound and influential flow, helping to shape hip hop culture in the 2010s. They rose to prominence with their 2013 single Versace, which gained additional attention after a remix by Drake. Their breakout hit Bad and Boujee topped the charts in 2016. Other notable songs include MotorSport, Stir Fry, and Walk It Talk It. Migos released four albums, with Culture and Culture II both debuting at number one on the Billboard 200. Beyond music, the group made a guest appearance on the television series Atlanta. After Takeoff’s death in 2022, the group disbanded in 2023. Migos is remembered for their significant influence on modern rap and popular culture.
