High-quality cajon from Martinete line of Artisan Edition series that features a solid tulip poplar resonating body with wood inlay and a Brazilian ironwood front plate with Ukola wood-frame, offering exquisite sound and appearance. The 15mm thick solid resonating body is equipped with an extra thick wooden sound port ring for bass compression, while the front plate is ergonomically rounded with convex contact. Rounded front plate corners and thumb notches further allow for greater comfort and playability. Inside the cajon there are two sets of ten micro-coiled metal cajon strings that deliver a snapping snare effect. These strings are hand wound in the style of master cajon builder, José ''Pepote'' Hernández Diaz, and each set is adjustable by tuning screw with the included key. The cajon also features 6 specially formulated soft rubber feet and pop filter on sound hole. Dimensions: 292 x 483 x 324 mm. The instrument is made in Spain and has satin finish.
