Malevolent Creation

Malevolent Creation is an influential American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1986 before relocating to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they helped shape the region’s distinctive death metal sound. The original lineup featured Phil Fasciana, Jim Nickles, and Bret Hoffmann, with Fasciana remaining the group's consistent driving force. Their 1991 debut album, The Ten Commandments, is considered a cornerstone of the death metal underground, building on the aggression of bands like Slayer and Death. Known for their relentless style and commitment to the genre, Malevolent Creation has become recognized as a mainstay in the death metal scene.
