Mackie M48 Phantom-adapteri

I use it with my DPA 4099 on my tenor sax on the stage during live performance when no phantom power is available. The Mackie M48 works well and steady in this combo. In the past, I used battery-only solutions. The 9V batteries ran out quickly, and I hated when my signal level drops during the live performance. The Mackie M48 has a power supply adapter. Therefore, no more worry about the batteries and signal drops. The build is quite sturdy, and you feel, it is not a cheap toy gear. The case is a little bit bulky for that function, though. However, I assume it is intentional not to overlook it on the stage. I am OK with that. On the other hand, from a price/value point of view, it is also a great choice. I have another Mackie product. None of them caused disappointment. Recommended.
