Impasto oil painting medium. LUKAS Painting Medium 5, also known as Painting Butter, is a heavy-bodied medium designed to mix with oil paints for impasto techniques. It creates thick, textured paint layers, accelerates drying, and helps prevent wrinkling. This non-yellowing medium ensures paint layers dry fully and become resistant to turpentine once cured.

Paintings stored for long periods in darkness may exhibit slight yellowing, especially in white areas, but exposure to light reverses this effect, preserving the artwork’s clarity.
