Leif Ove Andsnes, born on 7 April 1970, is a renowned Norwegian pianist and chamber musician. Acclaimed for his expressive artistry, he has released notable recordings with Virgin and EMI. In 2012 he joined Sony Classical, launching the Beethoven Journey project with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, recording all five Beethoven piano concertos and the Choral Fantasy over three years.
