Redesigned the Tractrix® horn from a 60 × 90 horn to a 90 × 90 horn for a wider range. This square horn has been paired with a round horn for a better sound picture while maintaining the dynamic, powerful sound of a Klipsch speaker. Strong, flexible grilles with a magnetic mount reveal a clean baffle. Unlike the Reference II series, the magnets have been embedded in the baffle for superior reduction of high frequency diffraction. Paired a brand new high quality wood fiber polymer veneer with a brushed polymer veneer to give the Reference Premiere system a more modern look. The clean, seamless lines of these speakers allow them to blend easily into any interior. Tractrix®Horn uses a round horn that is connected to a square horn to further improve the high frequency range and spread, while improving the sound image and dynamics. The compressed molded rubber construction provides high-frequency damping to reduce distortion and improve detail. This creates as pure, natural a sound as possible. Linear Travel Suspension minimizes distortion for better, more detailed performance. LTS tweeters have previously been a hallmark of the Reference and of our flagship Klipsch Palladium series, making it a core component of some of the best speakers in the world. Cerametallic subwoofers represent the best of the Klipsch driver design, by maintaining exceptional rigidity and lightweight construction, for minimal cone breakage and noise.
