Hooded Menace is a death-doom band from Joensuu, Finland, formed in 2007 by guitarist Lasse Pyykkö. Drawing from his earlier experience in the death metal group Phlegethon, Pyykkö created Hooded Menace to blend heavy, atmospheric doom with old-school death metal influences. The band is known for its crushing riffs, dark melodies, and horror-inspired themes.
