Grizzly Bear is a Brooklyn-based rock band formed in 2002, known for blending chamber pop, psychedelic folk, and art rock. The core lineup includes Edward Droste, Daniel Rossen, Chris Taylor, and Christopher Bear, all of whom contribute to the band's signature rich vocal harmonies and multi-instrumental sound. Originally started as Edward Droste’s solo project, Grizzly Bear became a full collaborative group with the addition of Bear, Taylor, and Rossen, resulting in a dynamic blend of songwriting and production styles. Their breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed albums Yellow House and Veckatimest, the latter featuring the hit single Two Weeks and earning them widespread recognition. Grizzly Bear is celebrated for their intricate arrangements and experimental approach to both traditional and electronic instruments.
