The vital feature of all Gretsch resonator models is the Gretsch Ampli-Sonic diaphragm (resonator cone), which is hand-spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99% pure aluminium, yielding an impressive quality and volume of tone. The guitar features a laminated mahogany body with internal Sound-Well bracing and aged white binding, a “squareneck”-shaped mahogany neck with vintage semi-gloss finish, 1930’s Gretsch 3x3 headstock with aged pearloid face and hex truss rod nut. It provides 19 medium jumbo frets, white dot inlays and bone nut fret. Scale length is 635 mm and nut width is 50.8 mm.
