This is my 2nd budget Gretsch guitar. (Budget only according to the price but not according to the quality, I think.) And this one is also flawless. Contrary to other producers, it seems, Gretsch is able to keep the quality control consistently on high level. The guitar is very light. The neck is very comfortable. You can play long hours without any tiredness of your hands. The frets are perfectly levelled. The nut is perfectly cut, the intonation is also perfect. You can adjust a very low string action without any buzzing. The pickups are OK. They produce rich but twangy sound suitable mostly for rockabilly and country music. Probably I will exchange them for softer, jazzier ones. But this is my personal preference, nothing wrong with the quality of the pickups. The prices of the guitars are quickly increasing in Europe nowadays. I think this is the last chance to purchase a good guitar for such a low price.
