The Gretsch Drums Brooklyn Kit Gray Oyster is a 3-piece shell pack that pays tribute to Brooklyn, New York, where Friedrich Gretsch began making drums in 1883. Proudly handcrafted in Gretsch's Ridgeland, SC factory, this kit pairs 6-ply North American maple/poplar shells with the proprietary 30-degree bearing edge and Silver Sealer interior finish. The result is a warm, punchy, and open sound with a vintage character that still feels modern.

What Makes This Shell Pack Stand Out

Each drum features the distinctive Gretsch 302 hoop — a 3mm double-flanged steel rim inspired by hoops Gretsch used until the mid-1950s. These hoops let the shells breathe for maximum resonance while delivering controlled rimshots. Cymbals and hardware are not included, giving drummers the freedom to build a setup around their own preferred stands and cymbals.
