Gibson 57 Classic Plus

Passive humbucker pickup for bridge position that uses slightly overwound balanced coils, exactly like the original “Patent Applied For” pickups of the late 1950s that accidentally received a few additional turns of wire. It is the perfect bridge-position companion to the ’57 Classic, delivering just a little more of "the sweet stuff" without sacrificing any of the rich vintage tone. Pickup features the same enamel-like coated wiring, Alnico II magnet and maple spacers as in the original models, achieving a creamy, smooth output that sounds rich and full whether it is being played clean or overdriven. This pickups is so authentic that it even carries the original "Patent Applied For" decal on the baseplate. It comes with braided, two-conductor wiring and is fully wax potted to eliminate any chance of microphonic feedback. Output: 8.3. Nickel cover.
