Fender California Deluxe Redondo Jr. E WN Honey Sunburst Elektroakustinen kitara

Fender California Deluxe Redondo Jr. E – compact power for modern players

Designed for musicians who demand rich acoustic voice without bulk, the Fender California Deluxe Redondo Jr. E packs a full‑sized dreadnought’s resonance into a junior‑scale frame. Its solid Sitka spruce top and laminated mahogany back‑and‑sides create a balanced tonal palette, while the Fishman CD‑1 system ensures clean amplified sound on any stage. The guitar’s 24‑inch scale and smooth walnut fingerboard make chord changes effortless, and the included gig bag protects the instrument during travel. Players will find it a versatile solution for rehearsals, small venues, and on‑the‑road performances.

Unique attributes that set it apart

Scalloped X‑bracing maximises top vibration, delivering dynamic response uncommon in travel models. Integrated Fishman electronics feature an onboard tuner, giving players instant pitch accuracy without extra pedals. Together, these components provide studio‑grade tone in a lightweight package.

Body construction – tonal depth and durability

Solid Sitka spruce offers responsive dynamics, while mahogany ribs add warmth and sustain, essential for expressive playing.

• The solid spruce top with scalloped X‑bracing delivers full acoustic projection.
• Back & sides: Laminated mahogany — sturdy construction with warm mid‑range focus.
• Bracing: Scalloped X‑bracing — enhances resonance for richer projection.

Neck & fingerboard – effortless comfort

A short 24‑inch scale reduces string tension, ideal for comfortable chord work and articulate solos.

• A 610 mm scale length lowers tension for smoother bends.
• Neck shape: Slim C, mahogany — fast, ergonomic feel across the fretboard.
• Fingerboard radius: 305 mm — balances chord comfort with single‑note clarity.
• Nut width: 43 mm — familiar spacing for precise fretting.

Electronics & hardware – stage‑ready reliability

The Fishman CD‑1 preamp delivers transparent acoustic tone, while quality hardware ensures tuning stability.

• The Fishman CD‑1 preamp offers volume, bass, treble, phase and a built‑in tuner.
• Tuners: Sealed die‑cast split‑shaft — hold pitch under vigorous playing.
• Nut & saddle: Micarta — clear attack and consistent sustain.

Ideal players – who will benefit most

Students transitioning to full‑size guitars, gigging singer‑songwriters, and traveling musicians seeking a reliable acoustic with plug‑in capability will find this model perfectly suited. The Fender California Deluxe Redondo Jr. E delivers stage‑grade sound without the heft of a full‑size dreadnought, making it the right choice for performers who need portability without sacrificing tonal richness.

Fender’s legacy – California Deluxe series
