To be honest, this is not a quality string. Sounds like an average ddadario. I understand that this will last for a long time, but with this sound, would be better to not. I used Earnie Ball strings before this set of Elixir, which after 6 months, has better sound than this. I'm really disappointed with this product. In standard tuning, the strings are too tense, and if I use tapping technic, just sounds bad. At least, my playing technic doesn't corresponds with this string. Also the box was opened when I get, and the G strings looks different than the others. I didn't used Elixir before, so I don't know if this is the original string or not.
