The ETX-15P from Electro-Voice is a high-power two-way compact loudspeaker designed for a variety of portable and permanent applications. The loudspeaker system's performance is optimized through an LCD screen, and the front LED can indicate power status or be configured to indicate limit.

The DSP (Digital Signal Processing) menus offer extensive configurations, including crossovers, selective voicing, protection limiters, EQ modes, and a lockout mode to prevent casual changes to the system. EV-patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) waveguide design ensures uniform coverage and directivity, achieved through advanced simulation software and proprietary algorithms for precise control and minimal distortion.

The transducers in the ETX-15P are designed and manufactured by EV, featuring SMX woofer technology with composite cone materials, flux stabilizing rings, and thermal management. This results in lower distortion, smooth response, and high SPL (Sound Pressure Level). The high-efficiency DH3-B compression driver with a convex diaphragm and coherent phase device extends the frequency response up to 20 kHz.

EV's FIR-Drive technology utilizes the latest FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filter technology to optimize transducer linearity, combined with advanced limiter algorithms for independent peak and thermal transducer protection. The enclosure of the ETX-15P is constructed with 18-mm, 13-ply birch plywood and finished with EVCoat.
