Christopher Joseph Ward, known as C. J. Ramone, is an American musician recognized for his role as bassist, backing vocalist, and occasional lead vocalist for the Ramones from 1989 until the band's retirement in 1996. He joined the group as the replacement for original bassist Dee Dee Ramone and remains one of the last surviving members of the legendary punk band.
