Big Big Train is an English progressive rock band formed in Bournemouth in 1990. The current line-up features founder Gregory Spawton, Nick D'Virgilio, Rikard Sjöblom, Clare Lindley, Alberto Bravin, Oskar Holldorff, and Paul Mitchell. Initially focused on studio recordings with changing members, the band became known for rich, melodic arrangements and storytelling lyrics. With the release of The Underfall Yard in 2009, the group gained critical acclaim and established a more stable roster, leading to celebrated live shows, including their return to the stage in London in 2015. Big Big Train has released fifteen studio albums and six EPs, with The Likes Of Us as their latest album in March 2024. The group toured the UK for the first time in 2019 and completed their debut US tour in 2024, continuing to build a dedicated following within the progressive rock community.
