Axel Rudi Pell is a German heavy metal band formed in 1989 by guitarist Axel Rudi Pell. The group is known for their powerful sound, blending classic heavy metal riffs inspired by bands like Deep Purple, Rainbow, and Black Sabbath with melodic hard rock, speed metal, and touches of power metal. Their music stands out for its long, virtuosic guitar solos, reminiscent of major influence Yngwie Malmsteen.
