Antonio Sánchez, born November 1, 1971, is a Mexican drummer and composer recognized for his collaborations with jazz guitarist Pat Metheny and for creating the acclaimed score for the film Birdman. His work on Birdman earned major awards, including a Grammy and Critics’ Choice Movie Award, along with nominations for the Golden Globe and BAFTA awards.
