Alcazar is a Swedish nu-disco group from Stockholm known for their upbeat dance hits and international success. Since their debut in 1999, they became one of Sweden’s top music acts, selling over 12 million records between 2001 and 2004. They are best known for the global hit "Crying at the Discoteque," which found charts success in countries including the USA, Brazil, Australia, Japan, and much of Europe. Alcazar originally disbanded in 2011, reunited for a time in 2013, and have only made occasional appearances since 2018.
