Bb soprano saxophone from Custom X series that is an improved version of the classic Yamaha YSS-875, already considered by many to be the finest soprano sax ever made. The new design with its G2 neck offers even broader expressive capabilities with wide dynamics, precise intonation, and a gorgeous sound with rich harmonics. The instrument comes with two necks – one straight and one curving – to suit different playing preferences. Its lower vent tubing design reduces noise on lower vent key action, while the revised rib plate provides a solid feel while enhancing resonance. Newly designed keys are more comfortable and ergonomic, and the new bullet tip adjustment screw design allows for optimal maintenance. Adjustable thumb rest allows for precise and comfortable hand and fingering position. The hand engraved ball further adds beauty and style. Gold Lacquer finish.
