The compact design and digital technology of the Yamaha YDP-143 enable it to be used in locations which are unsuitable for an acoustic piano. The Stereophonic Optimizer creates a more realistic listening experience when using headphones. The YDP-143 also has a range of features which enhance the playing experience. Digital reverb simulates the ambience of different performance locations in your own home and, in addition to grand piano, a selection of other voices are available. The Dual function allows you to play two voices together, while Duo mode creates two identical keyboard zones, which is ideal for teacher/student use. For practice, there's a built-in metronome and you can record and playback your performance using the two track recorder. The YDP-143 can be connected via USB to a computer or to an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch where a variety of Apps are available including Digital Piano Controller which gives you easy access to various functions.
