Wolfgang Petry, born Franz Hubert Wolfgang Remling in 1951 in Cologne, is a renowned German schlager musician and songwriter. Known for his hit album Alles, he became the top German-language artist in 1997. Petry earned multiple prestigious awards, including five Echo Awards for Best Folk and Pop Artist and numerous Goldene Stimmgabel honors as the most successful German solo pop act. Beyond schlager, he explored English-language country music with the Pete Wolf Band, releasing albums in 2017 and 2019 and an EP in 2022.
