Discovery series acoustic guitars from the Tanglewood brand offer affordable models that are characterized by a distinctive drawing of exotic woods. This guitar's Super Folk shape, which means a narrower and shallower body, is made of mahogany, and the neck with a composite fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and white dot position markers. The bridge is also made of composite (eboncore) and tuning stability is provided by die-cast chrome tuning mechanisms. The TW EX-4 preamp with a four-band equalizer and an integrated tuner offers the possibility of easy connection to an acoustic combo.
