Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project led by Australian multi-instrumentalist and producer Kevin Parker. Known for crafting all the project’s music himself in the studio, Parker has shaped Tame Impala’s distinct blend of dreamy soundscapes and innovative production. On tour, the group expands to include Dominic Simper, Jay Watson, Cam Avery, and Julien Barbagallo. Since emerging from Perth in 2007, Tame Impala has released four acclaimed studio albums, including Innerspeaker, Lonerism, Currents, and The Slow Rush. These albums have earned gold and platinum certifications, multiple ARIA Awards, and a Grammy nomination. Closely linked to fellow Australian band Pond through shared members and collaborations, Tame Impala continues to be a major influence in modern psychedelic music, with releases under Interscope and Fiction Records.
