The Sonoris DDP Player is a versatile standalone application designed for cross-platform use, enabling the import of DDP 2.00 images and Cue Sheet (cue) files for seamless playback or the creation of RedBook compatible audio CDs.

Universal DDP Reading

This powerful DDP Player can load DDP 2.00 filesets generated by various software, including Bias Peak Studio (XT), Sonic Studio HD, SADiE, Sequoia, and Pyramix. Users can easily playback tracks, audition gaps, and view all PQ codes, ISRC, MCN, and CD-Text data. The Check Project function ensures that the imported project adheres to RedBook specification rules.

Enhanced CD Support

In addition to audio data, CDs can also contain computer data such as images, videos, and program files, referred to as Enhanced CDs. The DDP Player supports the inclusion of this extra data, allowing it to be added before the first track or as a separate data session. When played in a standard CD player, the Enhanced CD functions like any other audio CD, but when accessed on a Windows PC or Mac, it reveals the data session as an additional drive.

iOS Application

An iOS version of the DDP Player is also available. Installation is straightforward: simply download the free DDP Player app from the Apple App Store and unlock it using your serial number. This version supports DropBox for effortless DDP file imports.

DDP Player OEM

For online mastering studios, the DDP Player is offered as a branded OEM version, allowing clients to listen to and approve DDP masters. This version retains all the features of the standard edition but is customized with studio branding, including logos, names, addresses, and website URLs, and can be distributed freely to customers.
