Masking fluid. Drawing-gum L'Aquarelle by Sennelier is a masking fluid used to protect the surface of paper that artists want to keep unpainted. It allows them to create crisp, clean edges and intricate details on their watercolor paintings. The liquid is applied to the desired areas and when dry forms a protective film that can be easily removed after painting.
