A pad sensor built into an acoustic drumhead moves air inside the 22 x 18-inch shell with each beater strike, replicating the resistance and rebound of a conventional bass drum. Advanced triggering accurately detects every stroke across the full dynamic range.

The transparent Gloss Natural finish showcases the maple grain, complemented by custom chrome lugs, claws, and spurs. The enlarged trigger area supports single and double kick pedals, and the included KDP-5 patch protects the head from beater wear.

Updated telescopic legs with improved stability, adjustment indicators, and a redesigned rubber foot keep the KD-22 locked in position during the most demanding performances.
