Ovation AE44-5 Applause Elite

Electro-acoustic guitar from Applause Elite AE44 series that features all the essentials of the classic Ovation Elite sound and body style, with a loud and focused voice, supreme playability and remarkable value that make it ideal for beginning and intermediate players. Premium features include a laminated spruce top with Elite-style multi-sound holes for clearly articulate tone, and a mid-depth round-back Lyrachord body for greater volume and projection, excellent balance and supreme durability. The guitar also features quartersawn, scalloped “X” spruce bracing, white body binding and multi-hardwood epaulettes for the classic Elite aesthetic. The fast, comfortable action and an easy-playing neck is made of nato wood and features a satin finish and white binding. It is fitted with a 10”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 20 fully accessible frets (22 frets for high E string) and pearloid dot inlays. Scale length is 641 mm, nut width is 43 mm. The guitar features an Ovation OP-4BT pickup/preamp system with built-in tuner for superior amplified tone and performance, a rosewood bridge, chrome tuners and D'Addario® EXP11 Coated 80/20 Bronze, Light strings (.012-.053).
