The maximum sound pressure (SPL) is 144 dB, which is a value that allows the TLM 102 to be used even for recording very loud instruments such as percussion, drums or guitar amplifiers. Thanks to its fast transient response, it is suitable for all musical instruments. But his main domain is the voice - both singing and the spoken word. The frequency curve is flat with a slight rise above 6kHz, which guarantees minimal voice coloration and clean bass delivery. To suppress contact noises, the capsule is stored in a flexible hinge. In addition to protecting the capsule, the cover grid also serves as a pop-filter to remove lips when recording singing and spoken word. Thanks to its price and universal use, the TLM 102 is an ideal microphone for home recording studios, project studios, small TV and radio.
