Distortion effect pedal that serves up all genres of rock with cut and aggression, but retains the signature warmth and organic sonic quality found in all Mesa Boogie amplifiers. While its main strengths lie in higher-gain sounds, it is quite versatile and its lower gain options should not be overlooked for classic rock or howling blues. The pedal also features a unique Mid Cut that scoops out midrange to produce the signature Boogie “V” EQ-curve that so many artists have employed in Mesa Boogie amps to create the world’s heaviest guitar tones. Other features include true bypass On/Off switching for bypassing all circuitry when off to ensure no tonal loss, a Gain control that allows user to dial in the perfect amount of classic to modern high-gain, a Lo/High Gain switch which provides classic crunch to modern meltdown, a Master Level control for a variable range of signal boost up to +20dB and a Tone Control that balances the amount of high frequencies. The pedal is also equipped with an On/Off status LED indicator and standard input/output jacks (nominal input -20 dB). It can be powered by 9V battery or via externally via external power jack input.
