Leonard Albert Kravitz, born May 26, 1964, is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and actor known for his dynamic mix of rock, funk, soul, and R and B. Rising to fame with his debut album Let Love Rule in 1989, Kravitz is celebrated for hits like It Ain't Over 'til It's Over, Are You Gonna Go My Way, Fly Away, and American Woman. He made history by winning four consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance from 1999 to 2002, and has sold over 40 million albums worldwide. Beyond music, Kravitz has appeared in films such as Precious and The Hunger Games series, and leads the creative studio Kravitz Design. He is the father of actress Zoë Kravitz.
