Jonny Greenwood is an acclaimed English musician best known as the lead guitarist and keyboardist of Radiohead. Renowned for his inventive guitar work and mastery of instruments like the ondes Martenot, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Radiohead’s critically acclaimed and influential sound. Greenwood is also the band’s primary arranger and the only classically trained member, contributing sophisticated orchestral elements both to the group’s albums and in collaborations with ensembles such as the London Contemporary Orchestra.
Beyond Radiohead, Greenwood is an accomplished film composer, having written scores for movies including There Will Be Blood, Phantom Thread, and The Power of the Dog, with multiple Oscar nominations for his work.
