Two-way powered studio monitor from LSR series that features the Image Control Waveguide system, originally developed for JBL's flagship M2 Master Reference Monitor, which precisely controls the sound emanating from the speaker in the vertical and horizontal planes ensuring the presentation at the listening position is neutral and accurate. It is equipped with a 5" long-throw woofer with JBL's patented Slip Stream low frequency port design and a 1" soft-dome, damped, composite neodymium tweeter that are designed from the ground up to reproduce the powerful transients and micro dynamics of the mix. The efficient Class D Amplifiers (41 W RMS for LF, 41 W RMS for HF) provide abundant power to deliver the output and dynamic headroom needed for the most demanding production styles. Balanced XLR and 6 mm TRS inputs with detented level control provide the necessary connectivity while maintaining professional signal quality, while the -10 dB/+4 dB sensitivity switch ensures compatibility with a broad range of signal sources. Thanks to the LSR - Linear Spatial Reference - design, the monitor delivers superior accuracy regardless of the size and shape of the room. The Trim switches for both the low and high Frequencies further provide an excellent control over the spatial sound and can fine-tune the amount of bass and treble to compensate for room acoustics, program material and personal taste.
