6-string electric bass guitar from SR Prestige series that offers a combination of a smooth, fast neck, lightweight body and perfectly matched electronics. It uses exotic woods and top-end features for luxurious look and incredible performance. Body of the instrument is made of exotic wenge wood at the top and back, with mahogany middle layer for improved resonance. The Atlas-6 HP five-piece wenge/bubinga neck features KTS titanium rods for incredible stability and is fitted with a wenge fingerboard with mother of pearl/abalone oval inlays and 24 medium frets with Prestige fret edge treatment for smooth playing. Scale length is 864 mm, nut width is 54 mm and fingerboard’s radius is 500 mm. The bass guitar is equipped with two Bartolini Custom passive pickups that are hand-made in the US exclusively for Ibanez. They feature dual coil designs, delivering a much deeper tone from the neck pickup while retaining a bright tone for the bridge. Precision tonal control is ensured by Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ that includes a mid-frequency switch and bypass switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypasses activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit. The equipped Mono-rail V with 16.5mm string spacing bridge is the ultimate bridge for bass string isolation – it is independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer without interference. Other features include gold hardware, Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL string nut and strings with gauges .032/.045/.065/.085/.105/.130. Fitting hard-shell case is included. Oil finish.
