Elle King, born Tanner Elle Schneider on July 3, 1989, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress known for blending country, rock, and blues influences in her music. She gained attention with her debut EP released by RCA Records in 2012, which featured the track Playing for Keeps as the theme for VH1's Mob Wives Chicago. Her breakout came with the hit single Ex's and Oh's from her debut album Love Stuff, which reached the Billboard Hot 100 top ten and earned multiple Grammy nominations. Notably, her collaboration with Miranda Lambert, Drunk And I Don't Wanna Go Home, also achieved chart success and led to her 2023 album Come Get Your Wife. King has toured with major artists including The Chicks, Joan Jett, and Miranda Lambert. The daughter of comedian Rob Schneider and former model London King, she uses her mother's surname to forge her own path in music.
