Electro Voice Everse 12 Paristokäyttöinen PA-järjestelmä

Battery-powered PA speaker with real pro-audio output

The Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 is a battery-powered PA speaker that delivers real pro-audio performance in a weatherized, all-in-one package. With a 12-inch woofer, 1-inch compression driver, and 400 W of Class-D power, it produces a maximum SPL of 126 dB and reaches down to 45 Hz. Bluetooth audio, a four-channel digital mixer, and 12+ hours of battery life let a single cabinet run an outdoor event.

What sets this model apart in the battery-PAC segment

What separates this model from the rest of the battery-PAC segment is engineering borrowed from EV's sibling brand Dynacord. The SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) ported waveguide couples the woofer and compression driver to extend low frequencies and even out coverage, while a 12 V DC port powers a wireless microphone receiver from the speaker's battery.

Output, coverage and frequency response — pro-audio headroom without mains power

Acoustic design is what makes this instrument feel like a much larger cabinet. Designed with a 100° x 60° dispersion pattern, the unit fills a room evenly, while the 126 dB maximum SPL keeps vocals clear at the back of the audience. Frequency response reaches from 45 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), so kick drums and basslines carry without a sub.

• The maximum SPL reaches 126 dB, providing enough headroom for outdoor ceremonies and small-to-mid gigs.
• Coverage (H x V): 100° x 60°
• Frequency range: 45 Hz – 20 kHz (-10 dB) — full-range response that reaches low enough to skip the sub

Battery, amplifier and DSP — play-all-day power with studio-grade processing

The custom 86.4 Wh Li-ion battery delivers 12+ hours at moderate output (around 100 dB SPL) or 6+ hours at maximum output, and the pack is user-replaceable in seconds. A 400 W Class-D amplifier and Dynacord-developed DSP module drive the system, with a four-channel digital mixer, 48 V phantom power, feedback suppression, and audio ducking built in.

• Amplifier power (peak): 400 W Class-D
• Battery capacity: 86.4 Wh
• A user-replaceable battery pack provides over 12 hours of run time at moderate levels, ensuring seamless operation for back-to-back events.

Connectivity, build and dimensions — weatherized, app-controlled, gig-ready

The polypropylene enclosure is rated IP43 when running on battery power during Bluetooth streaming, so light rain is not a show-stopper. Connectivity covers two XLR/TRS combo jacks (48 V phantom on input 1, Hi-Z on input 2), a 3.5 mm stereo aux, a TRS footswitch input, an XLR mix out, and Bluetooth true wireless stereo pairing.

• Connectors: 2x XLR/TRS combo, XLR mix out, 3.5 mm stereo, TRS footswitch, 12 V DC out, USB-C charging
• Enclosure & weather rating: polypropylene with powder-coated steel grille, IP43 (battery + Bluetooth operation)
• Weight: 14.16 kg; Dimensions (W x H x D): 345 mm x 597 mm x 347 mm

Who should buy this instrument

It is the right choice for mobile DJs, solo musicians, acoustic duos, wedding and ceremony providers, and rental houses that need a single cabinet to handle speech, music playback, and live performance without mains power. A 12 V DC receiver port and Bluetooth streaming make it a standalone rig for outdoor ceremonies.

The product line heritage

Electro-Voice launched the EVERSE 8 to set a new benchmark for battery-powered portable speakers, and the EVERSE name quickly became a reference point in the segment. Building on that platform, this model adds a larger 12" woofer, a 5 dB increase in maximum SPL, and deeper low-frequency response, with amplifier and DSP co-developed with Dynacord.
